Registration of Manufacturer/Packer/ Importer of Pre-Packed Commodities

    • Every manufacturer, packer or importer of pre-packed commodities must register his or its name and complete address by applying to the Director of Legal Metrology, Government of India or to the Controller.
    • A Certificate of Registration is issued to the applicant to that effect.
    • Such Certificate of Registration may be altered by applying to the Director of Legal Metrology, Government of India or to the Controller as the case may be.
